As sisters of Sigma Omega Nu, we pride ourselves on higher education. Because most of our founders came from low-socioeconomic backgrounds, we aspire to give back to the community by fundraising and providing a scholarship for a low-income graduating female student in high school. Annually, we award this scholarship to a young female who has demonstrated her hard work and dedication as an educated womxn throughout high school and who is committed to her individual pursuit of higher education by attending a four-year university.
